I’ve been playing around with Brownie recipes. After some experimentation these are the best:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter unsalted – melted
6 table spoons of cocoa
2/3 to one cup of brown sugar(demerara)
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 teaspoons of vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
3 whole eggs
1 cup walnuts
2 squares of baking chocolate unsweetened – melted
1 Tablespoon of Baking Powder
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and I use an 8×8 glass baking dish – you can lightly butter first.
I preheat the oven to 300 and bake for about 35 minutes on a rack that is in the middle of the bottom half of the oven. Set for about 30 minutes then keep an eye. Yummy!
